One Revolution at a Time!" It's about how the bicycle gained the right for women to vote in the 1890s- 1920, when they did gain the right to vote, plus equality and freedom!!

So glad it came back to you ! This only reminds me of items I have seen at garage sales or flea markets that have Filson Club on them...HMMMM. Guess I'll try to purchase anything else I see and get it back where it belongs.

Abe,
It is illegal to sell whiskey without a license so thereis not a big market for old bottles. With that said, you can take your chances on ebay where such bottles sell for about $100 to $200.

I have an unopened bottle of Schenley “Quadruple Sealed” medicinal whiskey from the prohibition era in great shape. Any ideas of someone who may have an interest in it?
Thanks,
Abe

The Filson has a large collection of Clark family papers, primarily those of Jonathan Clark. In my Clark family research I’ve learned a lot about him and other members of this famous family. There are a couple of publications available for sale through The Filson (or even online via Amazon perhaps) that provide information on Jonathan and the Clark family.

Mr. Luntz,
Do you have any more information about 5. John Swiney, abt 21, a young man who opposed the Klan. He was captured by the Klan in April of 1901 hung from a tree and then shot numerous times. This happened just over the line in Pike County.
